About Malibu Export Services

This is a picture of the Malibu Export Services 1933 Ford Roadster that went on the Summer of '96 European tour to the Power Meet in Sweden and the Mobel Tegeler Nationals in Berlin. Because we are high speed crazy here, we have installed a 616 horsepower 475 cu in big block Chevy engine and a B&M TH400 racing transmission. This all steel original body has been done in the traditional California "Hiboy" hot rod style with wheels by Halibrand and a cool rake by Superbell axles. A tan leather interior is complimented by gauges by Classic and an Autometer tach. With all the horsepower available, this 1000k Kg car is stopped by 4 disc brakes attached to a Ford 9" rear axle and a completely chromed front suspension. And horsepower it has! A "mild" Gazan engine kit consisting of a four bolt main 454 + .100, steel crank, 7/16 rods, custom pistons, flat tappet "Gazan" cam, Brodex -2 heads, Edelbrock Victor Jr. and one 850 Holley all fired by an MSD distributor makes a potent 550 ft/lbs of tire smoking torque at 4,500 RPM. This machine is a smoke monster! And if you don't see the flamed Corvette Green bullet coming, you can hear it by listening for the 3" Flowmaster exhaust system. When the engine isn't running, a 300 amp CD stereo system can be heard playing the Beach Boys "Barbara Ann" or ZZ Top!

We enjoy driving the roadster almost every day in sunny Southern California. If you would like to visit us during a holiday in the Los Angeles area, we would be happy to meet you. Call first for availability for a ride in the Hot Rod!

Street Magazine is one of Germany's fastest growing car publications. Started by magazine and automotive veterans Otto Meyer-Spelbrink and Darius Klapp, this cutting edge magazine is loved by all who read it. Malibu Export Services president Bruce Allison (41) is proud to be a technical editor for Street Magazine. The "Tech Talk" column is assured of real veteran American experience with Bruce's input and advice.

The new "Spirit Of America" Land Speed Record attempt car is the creation of Craig Breedlove (59). Craig will try to break the current record of 633 mph this year, and next year try to break the sound barrier of over 750 mph! Craig Breedlove is the first person to go over 400 mph, 500 mph and 600 mph, so he is a most experienced man in this form of motorsports! This new car, powered by a 48,000 horsepower jet engine from a F4 fighter plane, is currently having the finishing touches done to it at his shop in San Francisco. To go this fast requires extensive technology. The car is equipped with custom Centerline wheels and carbon fiber "tires" (really just belts) that cost $120,000 and are perfectly round to within .001 of an inch. Also on board is a data acquisition system including computers and 2 video cameras with in dash screen. Twin Kevlar parachutes and a skid brake will stop this car as it travels at more than 330 meters per second (1000 feet per second). Pictured is Malibu Export's president Bruce Allison (41) with the car at the Bonneville salt flats this September as he helped with what will be "The Fastest Car in the World".
